1. ESTABLISH QUORUM AND CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Wixom called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. with all members present.
2. SUMMARY OF CLOSED SESSION ITEMS

Mayor Wixom opened public comment for items on the agenda.
Jon Nowaczyk, Let's Get Tuned, expressed interest in negotiating a new
lease for 781 Market Ave.
Neal Maloney, Morro Bay Oyster Company, provided a business update
and preliminary plans for expansion.
Jeannie Kitzman, Monica King, Betty Winholtz, Emily Thoran, Judy Setting
and Jody Peterson offered comments in support of preserving Morro
Elementary.
End of public comment.

4.e PUBLIC EMPLOYEE EMPLOYMENT
City Attorney pursuant to Government Code Section 54957
5. RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION
The City Council reconvened in Open Session. City Attorney Schultz announced
that with regard to property negotiations for 1287 Embarcadero, 781 Market Ave.,

and 695 Harbor Street, no action was taken that requires preporting under the
Brown Act. With regard to property negotiations with San Luis Coastal Unified
School District for Morro Elementary, the Council authorized staff to continue to
negotiate with the District for purchase of the property and to send a formal
written notice to the District pursuant to Government Code section 54223. With
regard to Public Employee Employment of a City Attorney, no action was taken
that requires reporting under the Brown Act.
6. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 4:50 p.m.
