MINUTES - MORRO BAY CITY COUNCIL
CLOSED SESSION MEETING
June 27, 2025, 2:30 p.m.

1. ESTABLISH QUORUM AND CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Wixom called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. with all members present.
2. SUMMARY OF CLOSED SESSION ITEMS
3. CLOSED SESSION PUBLIC COMMENT
Mayor Wixom opened public comment for items on the agenda; seeing none, the
public comment period was closed.
4. THE COUNCIL WILL CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION
4.a PUBLIC EMPLOYEE EMPLOYMENT
Interim City Manager and City Manager pursuant to Government Code
section 54957.
5. RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION
The City Council reconvened in Open Session and Interim City Attorney Schultz
announced the Council took action that required reporting under the Brown Act.
The Council voted 5-0 to appoint Public Works Director Greg Kwolek as Acting
City Manager.
6. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 3:40 p.m.
