RESOLUTION NO. 58-25
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MORRO BAY, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO THE CITY’S FISCAL YEAR
2025-26 OPERATING AND CAPITAL BUDGET
T H E C I T Y C O U N C I L
City of Morro Bay, California
WHEREAS, the City of Morro Bay is required to appropriate and expend public funds to
conduct its day-to-day business activities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-26 Operating and Capital
Budget on June 24, 2025, by Resolution No. 38-25; and
WHEREAS, the City of Morro Bay contracts with the County of San Luis Obispo for animal
care and control service delivery to the residents of the City of Morro Bay; and
WHEREAS, the contract amount was not available at the time of budget adoption therefore
an estimated placeholder was used; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to amend said budgets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Morro Bay,
California, authorizes a budget adjustment to increase the contract budget amount by $32,715 as
outlined in Table 1.
