1 . Flow Com p arison Summary and Fin a nci a l Sta t e ments -Second
Quarter FY 84-85
Louise Burt reported on the flow summary and cost shares for the
six months ending December 31, 1984 . She recomm ended that the
Council and Board approve the report and a uthorize the fourth
quarter a d vances of $80,000 from Morro Bay a nd $20,000 from
Cayucos .

flow percentages, it is because the old meter was temporary and
not properly calibrated .
2 . Status of Construc t ion of Treatment Plant Expansion Project
Oral Progess Report by Director of Public Works
Mr . Nichols reviewed the construction progress on the plant; he
stated that it was 95% complete with 89% of the time elapsed .
The completion schedule is still for April 17, 1985 .
3 . 301 (h) Waiver/NPDES Permit

Mr . Nichols gave a report on the public hearing held concerning
this matter .
MOTION : Councilmember Risley moved for acceptance of the

4 . Appeal of EPA Audit of Step I -Oral Progress Report by
Director of Public Works
Mr. Nichols informed the Council and Board that there had been
no activity on this item for several months.
MOTION : Councilmember Risley moved for acceptance of the
report . The motion was seconded by Councilmember
Kaltenbach and unanimously carried . (3-0-2)
MOTION: Boardmember Earley moved for acceptance of the report.
The motion was seconded by Boardmember Borradori and
unanimously carried . (5-0)
5. Main Street Interceptor Replacement Project -Oral Progress
Report by Cayucos Sanitary District
There was discussion regarding the capacity of the treatment
plant with the Boardmembers concerned that Morro Bay does not
use any of Cayucos' capacity allocation.
The meeting adjourned at 8:45 p .m.
