Mayor Zeuschner called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m. He pre- sented Mike Multari, Community Development Director, a Resolution commending him upon leaving City employment. He reviewed Mike's accomplishments while he has been with the City and stated he was sorry to see him leave. Mayor Zeuschner noted the study session was called for the pur- pose of reviewing the proposed Traffic Circulation Element of the General Plan. Civil Engineer Dave Bugher Assoc. Planner Alan Davis Harbor Director Mike Multari Comm. Development Dir. Nick Nichols Public Works Director Mr. Multari gave an overview of the updated Traffic Circulation Element draft and stated the City originally adopted an Element MINUTES - MORRO BAY CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION - JUNE 30, 1986 PAGE TWO in 1967. He introduced Don Funk of Morro Group, Inc., who is the consultant that prepared the draft. Mr. Funk provided the highlights of the Element. Councilmember Sheetz asked about making one-way streets of Morro Bay Blvd and Harbor Street; Mr. Funk stated using Harbor Street to enter Morro Bay and Morro Bay Blvd. to leave would be the more advisable alternative if one-way streets are desired.. There was further discussion on the Element with comments from various Commissioners and Council. The meeting adjourned at 8:52 p.m. Record
