SPECIAL MEETING - OCTOBER 21, 1987
CITY HALL CONFERENCE ROOM
Mayor Reddell called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
PRESENT: Donnelly, Lemons, Odell, Sheetz, Reddell
ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Gary Napper, City Administrator
Mr. Napper noted the meeting was called for the purpose of inter-
viewing applicants for various City Boards and Committees. Coun-
cil interviewed the following applicants:
Harbor Advisory Board (1 vacancy); Gene Doughty, Don Boatman,
James Bower, and Stan Grabowski.
Street Advisory Committee (1 vacancy); Bruce Elster and Len
Carpenter.
Water Advisory Board (1 vacancy); Ken Maloney, Gabe Rossetti, and
Harry Hofman.
TV Franchise and Services Board (1 vacancy); no applications.
After the interviews and discussion, Council made the following
appointments:
MOTION: Councilmember Lemons moved Gene Doughty be appointed to
the Harbor Advisory Board. The motion was seconded by
Councilmember Odell and unanimously carried. (5-0)
MOTION: Councilmember Sheetz moved Bruce Elster be appointed to
the Street Advisory Committee. The motion was seconded
by Councilmember Lemons and unanimously carried. (5-0)
MOTION: Councilmember Donnelly moved Harry Hofman be appointed
to the Water Advisory Board. The motion was seconded
by Councilmember Lemons and unanimously carried. (5-0)
As there were no applications for TV Franchise and Services
Board, no appointments were made.
MOTION: Councilmember Sheetz moved the meeting be adjourned.
The motion was seconded by Councilmember Donnelly and
unanimously carried. (5-0)
The meeting adjourned at 7:52 p.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Morro Bay City Council will
hold a Special Meeting on Wednesday, October 21, 1987 at
6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room, 595 Harbor
Street, Morro Bay, CA for the purpose of interviewing
applicants for various City advisory boards.
