RESOLUTION NO. 10-26
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MORRO BAY, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO THE CITY’S FISCAL YEAR
2025-26 OPERATING AND CAPITAL BUDGET
T H E C I T Y C O U N C I L
City of Morro Bay, California
WHEREAS, the City of Morro Bay is required to appropriate and expend public funds to
conduct its day-to-day business activities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-26 Operating and Capital
Budget on June 24, 2025, by Resolution No. 38-25; and
WHEREAS, the cost of Phase 1 of the Coleman Park Capital Project has exceeded allocated
funding; and
WHEREAS, the Active Transportation Plan/Corridor Studies project has been paused; and
WHEREAS, the Sequoia Emergency Storm Drain project was completed under budget; and
WHEREAS, the Citywide Capital and Facilities Planning project was completed under budget;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to reallocate previously allocated funding of
these projects to Coleman Park Capital Project Phase 1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Morro Bay,
California, authorizes the reallocation of $194,167.09 in previously allocated General Fund resources
to the Coleman Park Capital Project Phase 1 as outlined in Table 1.
