RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MORRO BAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING MONTH TO MONTH BUILDING LEASE AGREEMENT
FOR LEASE SITE 62 LOCATED AT 551 EMBARCADERO
BETWEEN THE CITY OF MORRO BAY AND -SAIL & CURIOSITIES
T H E C I T Y C O U N C I L
City of Morro Bay, California
WHEREAS, the City of Morro Bay is the lessor of certain properties on the Morro
Bay Waterfront described as City Tidelands leases and properties; and
WHEREAS, Re-Sail & Curiosities been a subtenant at
Lease Site 62/62W since February 15, 2025, and are tenants in good standing; and
WHEREAS, the Harbor Department and Tenant have negotiated in good faith and
mutually agreed to the terms of a new building lease agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the lease term shall be on a month-to-month basis, allowing either
; and
WHEREAS, the monthly rent is established at a fixed rate of $1,500, with no
percentage of gross revenue; and
WHEREAS, the tenant shall be responsible for all interim maintenance and repairs
to the building, excepting normal wear and tear, with the ability to terminate the lease upon
.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Morro
Bay, California, as follows:
1. The attached new Building Lease Agreement for Lease Site 62 is hereby
approved.
2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said Building Lease Agreement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Morro Bay at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 24th day of March 2026 with the following vote:
AYES: Wixom, Eckles, Edwards, Landrum, Luffee
